Non-Linear Movement Method® Virtual Session

Non-Linear Movement Method®

Welcome the Winter Solstice with this somatic practice of feminine embodiment.

The Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM®) is a powerful somatic modality developed by Michaela Boehm.

By establishing a container for you to re-sensitize to your inner landscape, NLMM® encourages connection, trust, and intimacy between mind, body, and soul. A place where you can remain curious about your sensations will allow you to access the natural genius of the body. NLMM® is a non-force method that educates the body on how to release and process contractions, stress, and emotional tension as well as programmed coping patterns that can be loosened. As the body moves, it can facilitate its’ own release and restoration.

NLMM® is a gentle, unburdening of the nervous system and skill development to deepen the sensitization to your inner, intuitive world.

Learn more about NLMM® here.

What to Expect:

In the privacy of your own home, with cameras on or off, participants will be guided through the somatic practice of NLMM® supported with the background sounds of world music. The method can be practiced at any age, fitness level, and mobility. The movements are designed to be self-regulating and can be done in many positions, including lying down.

What to Bring:

- Please dress in comfortable clothing that allows you to to be able to stretch your body.

- Yoga mat or blanket or two

- Set your space for introspection: low lighting, perhaps candles, incense, or any tools that support your relaxation.

- If you use Aura-Soma, this is a great session to use your quintessence, pomander, or equilibrium.

- Make sure you have access to audio/sound. Participants have said that they had the best results by either connecting speakers to their computers or using wireless in-ear headphones. Here’s more about testing your audio on Zoom
