Casual | Ritual

Casual | Ritual is a bi-monthly gathering for those drawn to connection, spirituality, and self-development. Each month, we welcome a guest practitioner to share their gifts with our community—and this time, we’re inviting you into the deeply restorative world of sound healing.

Join us for a Spring Equinox Sound Bath
Thursday, March 19 | 6:30-8:00 PM
Guided Place x KOZY

Join us for a restorative Sound Bath honoring the Spring Equinox, a seasonal threshold that invites balance, renewal, and gentle forward movement. As light and dark meet in equal measure, this gathering offers space to recalibrate the nervous system and welcome new energy with steadiness and care.

Guided by Catherine of Cat and Owl Alchemy, crystal singing bowls and layered tones will support the body in shifting out of stress and into calm, coherence, and restoration. Sound and vibration move through the body in a way that supports regulation, emotional release, and a sense of internal spaciousness.

This is a resting practice. You will be invited to lie down comfortably and receive, allowing sound to support integration and renewal.

The Spring Equinox reminds us that growth does not require force. It begins with balance, presence, and making space for what wants to emerge next. Leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and gently reoriented toward the season ahead.

What to Expect:

  • A calming, resting experience guided by sound and vibration

  • Various singing bowls and layered tones designed to support nervous system regulation

  • A quiet, supportive group environment with minimal talking

  • Gentle integration time to help you leave feeling grounded and settled

You may experience:

  • A deep state of relaxation similar to meditation

  • Gentle release of physical or emotional tension

  • Heightened awareness of subtle sensations and energy

  • A sense of clarity, balance, and renewal as the session closes

What to Bring:

  • A yoga mat or floor mat

  • A blanket or layers to stay warm while resting

  • A pillow or bolster for head, knees, or lower back support

  • Anything else that helps you feel comfortable lying on the floor or sitting with ease

Why join?

Sound healing is backed by science:

  • Nervous System Reset: Research shows sound vibrations can slow brainwave activity, moving you into alpha and theta states linked to relaxation, creativity, and restoration.

  • Stress + Anxiety Reduction: Studies have found sound baths can significantly lower tension, anxiety, and even blood pressure by shifting the body into parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) mode.

  • Pain + Tension Relief: Vibrational frequencies can reduce muscle tension and support the release of endorphins, the body’s natural pain relievers.

  • Improved Sleep: By calming the nervous system and lowering cortisol levels, sound therapy can support deeper, more restorative rest.

Details:

  • Date & Time: Thursday, 3/19/26, 6:30-8:00 pm (60 min sound bath, tea, and integration to follow)
