SOMATIC PROCESSING

A Body-oriented Approach

We’ll work with the nervous system to release held stress and build more capacity for joy, pleasure, clarity, and the ability to thrive.

You don’t need to know what you want to work on. Only to trust that your body already does.

Woman with her hands on her chest

Somatic processing focuses on how lived experiences are stored in the body and gently processed through sensation and awareness.

Rather than talking through an issue, we slow down and listen to what your nervous system is communicating in the present moment. This allows the body to complete responses that were once interrupted or held back.

WHAT IT’S BEST FOR

A nervous-system reset when you’re:

  • in a life transition or in-between phase

  • feeling stuck, numb, or overwhelmed

  • noticing recurring emotional or relational patterns

  • carrying stress, burnout, or functional freeze

  • wanting deeper self-understanding beyond talk alone

  • feeling disconnected from your body or intuition

What happens in a session?

Somatic Processing is a guided process through the channels of awareness:

sensation
emotion
posture
imagination
thought

From there, we can begin to understand how your nervous system responds and where it may be holding tension or energy. This process allows you more access to the primal body and unconscious mind.

Many people describe somatic processing as similar to an active, guided meditation.

I offer supportive prompts and reflections while your nervous system leads the session. We follow sensation, impulse, and awareness rather than a predetermined agenda.

People often describe this work as deeply grounding and connective. Sessions unfold at the body’s pace, supporting nervous system regulation and emotional awareness.

Many leave feeling clearer, more settled, and more connected to themselves, with a sense that change occurred in a way the body could integrate.

Let your body lead you home.

Ongoing Work

Somatic Processing is offered as a single session and can be meaningful on its own.

Many people choose to return more consistently as they become more familiar with their nervous system and patterns, or as life continues to shift. Continued work is always optional and guided by your own readiness.

Self-paced

If you’re curious about somatic work but aren’t ready for a one-on-one session, self-paced offerings are available as a gentle place to begin.
