Intro to Bowspring Yoga with Katie Ward
Thursday, July 9| 6:30-8:00 PM
Guided Place at The Kula Center
Join Katie for a playful yet intentional movement experience that blends functional movement, nervous system awareness, and mindful connection. The Bowspring is a dynamic postural movement practice designed to awaken the body through balance, geometry, and conscious connection. The Bowspring works with the natural curves of the spine and uses the spring-like architecture of the human body to cultivate strength, mobility, balance, and energetic flow.
This workshop introduces foundational principles of the Bowspring through movement exploration, fascial education, and embodied practice. Students will learn how to create more space within the body, improve alignment, activate underused muscles, and develop a deeper relationship with their physical and emotional patterns.
Whether you are completely new to Bowspring or simply curious about approaching movement in a new way, this workshop invites you to reconnect with your body from the inside out.
